The new UltraChrome DG direct to garment ink for the Epson SureColor F2000 direct to garment printers is revolutionizing the printing industry with its ability to print beautifully vivid, soft, high definition images directly on to t-shirts and garments. This pigment ink uses new technology for cellulose based garment imaging that was developed exclusively by Epson. It was co-developed with the new print head technology to improve the overall reliability and longetivity of direct-to-garment printing machines that use white ink.
The white ink specifically was developed with next-generation high-dispersion technologies to reduce the sedimentation and coagulation seen in many white ink printing systems. This results in a high white ink density, with a very natural white color. Each cartridge has a built-in ink filter to better ensure the ink is free of contaminants and debris before entering the system, which also features a second internal air filter to screen the inks again before it reaches the print head.
All of this impressive Epson direct to garment technology adds up to one thing: robust garment, print, and printhead durability for ultimate performance and quality in DTG imaging and printing.
The Epson UltraChrome DG inks have also passed the requirements of Oeko-Tex Standard 100 for human ecological requirements Class I products, ensuring safety for adults, children, and babies up to 36 months when used with cotton fabrics.
Note: The five Epson UltraChrome DG inks used in the Epson SureColor SCF2000SE/SCF2000WE series printers, when applied to garments, pass the requirements of Oeko-Tex Standard 100 for human ecological requirements of Class 1 products for adults, children, and babies up to 36 months. Oeko-Tex Standard 100 specifies testing criteria for the presence of harmful substances within a textile product. The standard belongs to the International Association for Research and Testing in the field of Textile Ecology. (Oeko-Tex)
